To add formal supplementary information to a previous statement—such as a reason, a polite disclaimer, or an additional condition—use the discourse marker ทั้งนี้. It translates closely to "in this regard" or "please note that."
Place ทั้งนี้ at the beginning of the supplementary sentence or clause.
