Sudden realization (นี่นา)

To express a sudden realization when noticing a detail that contradicts your previous belief, use the particle นี่นา ("wait, it is actually...").

It is placed at the end of a clause or sentence (before politeness particles like ครับ or ค่ะ). It is often paired with the exclamation อ้าว ("Oh!" or "Wait!") at the beginning of the sentence.

Surprising Finds

Night markets are a great place to hunt for unexpected deals. You can use นี่นา to capture the feeling of stumbling upon an unbelievable bargain or a surprising find that you never expected to see.
