When writing official press releases or public relations materials in Thai, you often need to refer back to subjects you have already mentioned.
Before referring back to a subject, you must establish it first.

To refer back to this established subject, formal Thai uses the modifier ดังกล่าว ("aforementioned" or "said"). Unlike in English, ดังกล่าว is placed immediately after the noun it modifies.
| The aforementioned mass media are interested in this public relations event. | สื่อมวลชน ดังกล่าว สนใจ งาน ประชาสัมพันธ์ นี้ |
You will frequently use ดังกล่าว with formal vocabulary like a press release (แถลงการณ์) published to the public (สาธารณชน).
| The manager published the statement to the public. | ผู้จัดการ เผยแพร่ แถลงการณ์ สู่ สาธารณชน |
Once a document or subject is introduced, simply follow it with ดังกล่าว in subsequent sentences to refer back to it.
| He kept the aforementioned statement. | เขา เก็บ แถลงการณ์ ดังกล่าว ไว้ |
This pattern applies seamlessly to formal terms like the public sector (ภาครัฐ), the private sector (ภาคเอกชน), or operating results (ผลประกอบการ).
| The operating results of the private sector are a ten percent profit. | ผลประกอบการ ของ ภาคเอกชน คือ กำไร ร้อยละ สิบ |
| The aforementioned operating results belong to the public sector. | ผลประกอบการ ดังกล่าว เป็น ของ ภาครัฐ |
You can apply this structure to almost any official noun, such as a company newsletter (จดหมายข่าว).
| The company will publish the aforementioned newsletter to the public. | บริษัท จะ เผยแพร่ จดหมายข่าว ดังกล่าว สู่ สาธารณชน ค่ะ |
