Why is it "i salen nu" and not "nu i salen"?
Swedish follows a strict Place before Time rule (often called the Rum-Tid rule) at the end of a clause. Because i salen tells us where (Place) and nu tells us when (Time), the place must come first. English is sometimes more flexible, but Swedish strongly prefers this Place-Time order.
Can I move "nu" to the beginning of the sentence?
