Why does väl go in the middle of the sentence instead of at the end like "right"?

In Swedish main clauses, modal particles like väl, ju, and nog are placed right after the first verb. Since ska is the first verb here, väl must go directly after it, before the main verb sova.

Why do we use sova instead of the present tense sover here?

Because of the helper verb ska (are going to / will). Just like in English, when you use a helper verb, the main verb that follows it must be in its infinitive (dictionary) form. That is why we use sova instead of sover.

How does the word tältet get the meaning "the tent"?

In Swedish, you usually do not use a separate word for "the"; instead, you add an ending to the noun. Because tält (tent) is an ett-word, it takes the ending -et to become tältet (the tent).
