Why does the word for restaurant end in -en?
In Swedish, you do not put a separate word for "the" in front of a basic noun. Instead, you add an ending. Restaurang is an en word, so you add -en to make it restaurangen (the restaurant).
If there are eight of them, why isn't there a plural ending on bord?
