Why is there no apostrophe in Johans?
In Swedish, the possessive -s is attached directly to the end of the name or noun without an apostrophe. So "Johan's" is simply written as Johans.
Since we know exactly which camera it is, why isn't it Johans kameran?
When a noun comes right after a possessive word (like a name with an -s, or words like my/your), Swedish drops the "the" ending. Even though it's a specific camera, you use the basic, indefinite form kamera instead of the definite form kameran.
