Neither ... Nor: Varken ... eller
To link two negative alternatives, use the paired conjunction varken ... eller (neither ... nor).
When using this structure, you must follow the negative concord constraint: because varken is already a negative word, you must drop inte from the sentence entirely. Adding inte would create an incorrect double negative.
Here is how you use it to connect two objects, such as when discussing what an insurance policy excludes:
