Why is the order 'casa blanca' instead of 'blanca casa'?
In Spanish, descriptive adjectives like colors usually go after the noun they describe. So instead of saying 'white house' like in English, you put the noun first and say 'house white' (casa blanca).
Why do both 'blanca' and 'buena' end in the letter 'a'?
Adjectives have to match the gender of the noun they describe. Since casa is a feminine word (which we know from the word la), the adjectives change their default '-o' ending to an '-a'. That is why blanco becomes blanca and bueno becomes buena.
