### Agreeing on Plans with "Quedar en"

When you want to express that you have reached an agreement or settled on a plan, use the phrase **quedar en** followed by an infinitive verb. While the verb *quedar* on its own has many meanings, adding *en* translates directly to "to agree to" or "to agree on."

### Tense and Pronouns

You can conjugate **quedar** in any tense depending on when the agreement is made. It is very common to use the preterite (past) tense to state what was already decided, but it works perfectly in the present tense as well.
