Questions & Answers about Cumpărăm două bilete.
Why do we use două instead of doi for the number two?
How can I tell that bilet is a neuter noun?
The translation says "We buy", but where is the word for "we"?
You don't need it! In Romanian, it is very common to drop the subject pronoun (like noi for "we"). The ending of the verb itself tells you who is doing the action. The -ăm ending in cumpărăm specifically means "we buy".
Why does cumpărăm have two different types of "a" with marks on them?
Those are two distinct letters in the Romanian alphabet! The ă (with the curved cup) makes an "uh" sound, like the "a" in the English word "about". The â (with the little roof) is a deeper, throatier sound made with your teeth slightly closed.
