Plural Commands
When giving a command to a group of people, use the plural imperative.
In Romanian, the affirmative plural command is exactly the same as the present tense voi (you plural) form. Just use the verb without the pronoun!
| Boys, assemble the tent in the garden! | Băieți, montați cortul în grădină! |
| Girls, stick the poster on the wall! | Fetelor, lipiți afișul pe perete! |
| Bring the ladder and the flag here! | Aduceți scara și steagul aici! |
| Decorate the stage for the concert! | Decorați scena pentru concert! |
Making Comparisons: "More ... Than"
To tell your team to do something "more [adverb]"—such as faster, higher, or more carefully—place mai directly in front of the adverb.
To say "than," use either ca or decât. Both are interchangeable in these comparisons.
| Volunteers, arrange the equipment faster than us! | Voluntari, aranjați echipamentul mai repede ca noi! |
| Assemble the tent more carefully than yesterday! | Montați cortul mai atent decât ieri! |
| Stick the poster higher than the window! | Lipiți afișul mai sus decât fereastra! |
| Put the flag higher than the poster! | Puneți steagul mai sus decât afișul! |
