Why is the plural of gospodyni written as gospodynie?
Feminine nouns that end in -i in their basic singular form, like gospodyni or pani, belong to a special group. To make them plural in the nominative case, they take the ending -e, giving us gospodynie (just like pani becomes panie).
Why do we use nasze instead of nasi here?
Polish has two plural genders: masculine-personal (a group with at least one man) and non-masculine-personal (everything else, including groups of women, animals, and objects).
