〜eru; 〜rareru

Note

For verbs in Group 1, change the final う-sound into an え-sound, and add -る as ending.

For verbs in Group 2, change the -る ending into -られる.

Usages of 〜eru; 〜rareru

あなた に い に られません。anata ni ai ni koraremasen.
I can't come to meet you.
もう えび が べられません。mou ebi ga taberaremasen.
I cannot eat more shrimp.
こんばん よるはん が つくれません。konban yorugohan ga tukuremasen.
I cannot make dinner tonight.
いま さと に けません。ima sato ni ikemasen.
(I) cannot go to my hometown now.
わたし は この はなし が しんじられません。watasi ha kono hanasi ga sinziraremasen.
I cannot believe this story.
できません。dekimasen.
I can't do it.
