Usages of 〜ba
時間 が あれば、 映画 を 見ます。zikan ga areba, eiga wo mimasu.
If I have time, I’ll watch a movie.
勉強すれば、 上手 に なります。benkyousureba, zyouzu ni narimasu.
If you study, you will become skillful.
もっと 早く 寝れば、 元気 に なる よ。motto hayaku nereba, genki ni naru yo.
If you go to bed earlier, you'll feel better.
もっと 練習すれば よかった。motto rensyuusureba yokatta.
I should have practiced more. (It would have been good if I'd practiced more)
あなた が 来れば、 パーティー は もっと 楽しい でしょう。anata ga kureba, paathii ha motto tanosii desyou.
If you come, the party will be more fun.
お金 が あれば、 新しい 車 を 買いたい です。okane ga areba, atarasii kuruma wo kaitai desu.
If I have money, I want to buy a new car.
この 薬 を 飲めば、 よく なります よ。kono kusuri wo nomeba, yoku narimasu yo.
If you take this medicine, you’ll get better.
電車 が 早ければ、 遅れません。densya ga hayakereba, okuremasen.
