Usages of yotei

ジョン　さん　は　予よ定てい　が　ありました　から、　パーティー　に　来きません　でした。zyon san ha yotei ga arimasita kara, paathii ni kimasen desita.
John didn't come to the party, because he had plans.
予よ定てい　だった　んです。yotei datta ndesu.
(It's because) it was the plan.
予よ定ていな　んです。yoteina ndesu.
(It's because) it's the plan.
