Usages of mado
寒い から、 まど を しめて ください。samui kara, mado wo simete kudasai.
It's cold, so please shut the window.
Remember: you can't use ので to form suggestions, invitations, commands or requests.
窓 が 開けて ある。mado ga akete aru.
The window has been opened (by someone, and is still open).
猫 は 窓 で 日光 を 浴びる。neko ha mado de nikkou wo abiru.
The cat basks in the sunlight by the window.
窓 から 日光 が 入って いる。mado kara nikkou ga haitte iru.
Sunlight is coming in through the window.
窓 から 風 が 入って くる。mado kara kaze ga haitte kuru.
