Usages of mitukeru

おや を つけました。oya wo mitukemasita.
He found his parents.
ちち は ふるい がみ を つけた。titi ha hurui tegami wo mituketa.
My father found an old letter.
かならず こたえ を つけます。kanarazu kotae wo mitukemasu.
(You) will definitely find the answer.
たい は かわ で つけました。sitai ha kawa de mitukemasita.
(I) found the corpse in the river.
さんちゅう に うつくしい はなばな を つけました。sanpotyuu ni utukusii hanabana wo mitukemasita.
I found beautiful flowers while walking.
ふるい マッチばこ を つけました。hurui mattibako wo mitukemasita.
I found an old matchbox.

The h-sound in はこ changes into a b-sound because of rendaku, an irregular phenomenon where the initial letter of the second part of a compound word can become voiced.

びょう の げんいん を つけること が じゅうよう です。byouki no genin wo mitukerukoto ga zyuuyou desu.
