The Quantifier "Tutto"
To say "all" or "the whole" in Italian, use the quantifier tutto. Because it acts like an adjective, it must agree in gender and number with the noun it modifies, giving you four forms: tutto, tutta, tutti, and tutte.
When modifying a noun, tutto has a unique word order: it must be placed directly before the definite article (the words for "the", like il, lo, la, i, gli, and le).

When used with a singular noun, tutto translates to "the whole" or "the entire".
