Question Tags: er það ekki?
In English, question tags change depending on the verb and the subject of the sentence (e.g., "isn't it?", "don't we?", "doesn't he?").
In Icelandic, this is wonderfully simple: just add er það ekki? (literally "is it not?") to the end of a statement, separated by a comma. It does not matter who the subject is or what verb you are using in the main sentence. The tag always stays exactly the same.
