Why is there no subject in Можна програти?

Because this is an impersonal construction in Ukrainian: можна + infinitive.

Besides to lose, програти can also mean to play something back, especially with audio or media. For example:

But in the sentence Можна програти with no object, the most natural interpretation is usually to lose, especially in a context about games, competitions, arguments, or risky situations.

How would I say who can lose: I can lose, you can lose, and so on?
