What does добираемся actually mean here? Is it the same as we walk?
Добираемся is the 1st-person plural present of добираться (imperfective), which means “to get to, to make one’s way (to), to reach.” It focuses on the process/commute rather than the specific manner of movement. By adding пешком, you specify that the way you get there is on foot. Without пешком, the sentence wouldn’t tell us how you travel.
Why is the verb reflexive (ending in -ся)?
The -ся here marks a “middle voice”/intransitive meaning. Добираться is a set verb meaning “to get to,” and it’s different from the non-reflexive добирать/добрать (to top up, to finish collecting). The reflexive ending doesn’t mean “ourselves” here; it’s just part of the verb’s lexical pattern.
Why is it до парка and not в парк? What case is парка?
До governs the genitive case, so парк becomes парка. До means “up to/as far as; to (reach).”

Is добираемся в парк ever correct?
No. The standard government is добираться/добраться до + Genitive. В + Accusative with this verb is considered wrong in standard Russian.
