Usages of tsukeru
私 は 電気 を つけます。watashi wa denki o tsukemasu.
I turn on the light.
昼 は 窓 を 開ければ、 電気 を つけなくて も 部屋 が 明るく 見えます。hiru wa mado o akereba, denki o tsukenakute mo heya ga akaruku miemasu.
During the day, if I open the window, the room looks bright even without turning on the light.
