Usages of ĝis

• Se mi havus tempon, mi skribus pli frue, sed mi laboras ĝis malfrue.: If I had time, I would write earlier, but I work until late.
• Mi laboras ĝis la vespero.: I work until the evening.
• Poste mi sendas retpoŝton por inviti ŝiajn amikojn en nian domon, kie ni dancos kaj restos kune ĝis malfrue.: Then I send an email to invite her friends into our house, where we will dance and stay together until late.
• La oferto restos ĝis dimanĉo, sed la rabato estos plej granda morgaŭ.: The offer will remain until Sunday, but the discount will be biggest tomorrow.
• Kiom da tempo restas ĝis via rendevuo?: How much time remains until your appointment?
• Ni atendas en la kafejo ĝis la kunveno finiĝos.: We wait in the café until the meeting finishes.
• En somero la infanoj ludas sur la balkono ĝis malfrue, se la vetero restas varma.: In summer the children play on the balcony until late, if the weather stays warm.
• Mi ne komprenis la kaŭzon de la problemo, ĝis la instruistino montris la eraron sur la tabulo.: I did not understand the cause of the problem until the teacher showed the mistake on the board.
• Mi restos en la kafejo ĝis la kunveno finiĝos.: I will stay in the café until the meeting ends.
• Ni atendis ĉe la fenestro, ĝis la pluvo ĉesis kaj la strato denove fariĝis trankvila.: We waited at the window until the rain stopped and the street became calm again.
