Why does ŝraŭbŝlosilon end in -n?
The -n marks the direct object.
In Mi uzas ŝraŭbŝlosilon..., the subject is mi and the verb is uzas. The thing being used is ŝraŭbŝlosilo, so it takes the accusative ending -n:
