Why is it rychlé and not rychlý?
Because tempo is a neuter singular noun, and adjectives in Czech have to agree with the noun they describe.
The adjective rychlý changes its ending depending on gender:
- rychlý = masculine
- rychlá = feminine
- rychlé = neuter
So:
- rychlý vlak = a fast train
- rychlá hudba = fast music
