Usages of stići

• Prošli vlak nije stigao na vrijeme.: The last train did not arrive on time.
• Ako kasnimo, stići ćemo na sljedeći vlak.: If we are late, we will make the next train.
• Ako krenemo ranije, stići ćemo na vrijeme u kazalište.: If we leave earlier, we will arrive at the theatre on time.
• Ako zaboravim platiti pretplatu na časopis, stiže mi ljubazna obavijest e‑mailom.: If I forget to pay the subscription for the magazine, I receive a polite notification by email.
• Uspjeli smo oprati sve mrlje sa stolnjaka prije nego što je stigla obavijest da će majstor doći.: We managed to wash all the stains from the tablecloth before the notification arrived that the repairman would come.
• Kad dostava stigne, dostavljač će mi dati potvrdu.: When the delivery arrives, the delivery person will give me a confirmation.
• Narudžba još nije stigla, pa ću ih zvati odmah.: The order still hasn’t arrived, so I will call them immediately.
• Paket je već poslan, ali još nije stigao.: The package has already been sent, but it still hasn’t arrived.
