To express a stark contrast between two situations or people, you can use the conjunction wohingegen (whereas).
Because wohingegen is a subordinating conjunction, it changes the word order of the clause it introduces. The conjugated verb is kicked to the very end of the subordinate clause. As with all subordinate clauses in German, you must separate it from the main clause with a comma.
