Why do we use cette here instead of ce?
Cette is the feminine singular word for "this" or "that". We use it here because boulangerie (bakery) is a feminine noun. If the noun were masculine, we would use ce (or cet before a vowel).
Is there a way to guess that boulangerie is feminine?
