Why use nos here instead of notre?
Notre means "our" when you own just one thing (like notre équipe for "our team"). Because we are talking about multiple teams here, we use the plural form, nos.
Is there a connected sound (liaison) between nos and équipes?
Yes! Since équipes starts with a vowel, the normally silent s at the end of nos wakes up and makes a "z" sound to link the words together. It sounds a bit like "no-zay-keep".
Why does prêtes have both an e and an s at the end?
In French, adjectives must match the noun they describe. The word équipe is feminine, so we add an -e to the masculine word prêt (ready). Since there is more than one team (équipes), we also add an -s for plural, giving us prêtes.
