Inflecting Plural Numerals
Plural-only nouns (pluralia tantum) require plural numerals, like yhdet (one) or kahdet (two). When inflecting these phrases, the numeral must agree with the noun in both number and case. Since the noun is always plural, the numeral takes the corresponding plural case ending.

"At" Multiple Events
In Finnish, many event names are plural-only. You will use either the inessive plural (-ssa/-ssä) or the adessive plural (-lla/-llä) to say you are "at" the event.
For events ending in -iset (like kihlajaiset, ristiäiset) and others like tuparit, polttarit, and bileet, use the inessive plural:

| The students planned the weekend well so that they have time to go to five parties. | Opiskelijat suunnittelivat viikonlopun hyvin, jotta he ehtivät käydä viisissä bileissä. |
For informal events like pre-parties (etkot) and afterparties (jatkot), use the adessive plural:

If you are talking about different types of events at the same time, the cases can mix:
| At two pre-parties and one bachelor party there was a huge serving table. | Kaksilla etkoilla ja yksissä polttareissa oli valtava tarjoilupöytä. |
"To" or "For" Multiple Events
When expressing movement towards or booking something "for" these events, the case changes.
For events that use the inessive case, you will typically use the illative plural (-iin, -hin) for "to" or "for":
| You do not need to buy an expensive gift for two christenings and three housewarming parties. | Sinun ei tarvitse ostaa kallista lahjaa kaksiin ristiäisiin ja kolmiin tupareihin. |
For events that use the adessive case, or when expressing "for" a purpose like booking a venue, use the allative plural (-lle):

| We don't need to book the same party venue for one pre-party and two afterparties. | Meidän ei tarvitse varata samaa juhlapaikkaa yksille etkoille ja kaksille jatkoille. |
