When corporate rivalries escalate into bitter disputes, casual promises won't cut it. You need to make unbreakable commitments. In Arabic, when you want to express absolute certainty or make a strong vow about a future action, you use the Heavy Emphatic Suffix.

### The Heavy Emphatic Suffix (نون التوكيد الثقيلة)

To deeply emphasize an affirmative present tense verb—translating to "will definitely" or "will absolutely"—Arabic attaches a special suffix to the end of the verb: **ـنَّ**.

This suffix is almost always paired with the emphatic prefix **لـَ** attached to the very beginning of the verb. Together, they frame the verb to lock in your commitment. 

To form this with the hidden pronouns for "I", "we", "he", or "she", you simply change the verb's final vowel to a *fatha* and attach the **ـنَّ**:

- **نصل** (we reach) becomes **لنصلن** (we will definitely reach)
- **أوافق** (I agree) becomes **لأوافقن** (I will definitely agree)

### Attaching Object Pronouns

If your emphatic verb needs an attached object pronoun (like "him" or "her"), the emphatic suffix **ـنَّ** goes directly on the verb *before* the pronoun object. 

- **أقاضي** (I sue) + **ه** (him) becomes **لأقاضينه** (I will definitely sue him)
- **نوقف** (we stop) + **ها** (her) becomes **لنوقفنها** (we will definitely stop her)
