In Western Armenian, when an action is expressed using a participle (like մօտեցած / "having approached"), the logical subject of that action is often placed in the Genitive case rather than the Nominative.
Standard Subject (Nominative): Չարերը (The wicked [did something]).
Participial Subject (Genitive): Չարերուն (By the wicked / Of the wicked [having done something]).
Thus, the construction literally translates as " the time of the wicked having approached me," which in natural English is "when the wicked approached me".
