What is worse, they don't all change in the same way, some take an 'n' as initial, others an 'm' or a 'nd', still others drop everything and just use the root word.
There is nothing else, but memorizing and practizing. (I mean, except you want to dive deeply into linguistics and study about how letters influence one another or how they evolved during history... up to you.)
