Working in a service business means encountering a wide range of situations. You will face different types of clients and have to adapt to their unique needs.
To express "various" or "all sorts of", Thai uses the modifier ต่างๆ. You place ต่างๆ directly after the noun it modifies. Notably, unlike many other modifiers or quantities in Thai, you do not need to place a classifier between the noun and ต่างๆ.
| We have to handle various requests from clients. | เรา ต้อง จัดการ คำขอ ต่างๆ จาก ลูกค้า ครับ |
Pleasing Difficult Clients
Not every client is easy to work with. You will quickly learn to identify those who are fussy (จู้จี้) or hard to please (เอาใจยาก).
| How come these fussy clients have so many various requests? | ทำไม ลูกค้า จู้จี้ เหล่านี้ ถึง มี คำขอ ต่างๆ เยอะ ขนาดนี้ ครับ |
Despite various limitations (ข้อจำกัด), your goal is to predict (คาดเดา) their needs and cater to them. Notice how ต่างๆ consistently attaches directly to the nouns in these situations.

Feedback and Adjustments
When you receive all sorts of feedback (คำติชม) from these clients, you will often need to adjust or adapt (ปรับเปลี่ยน) your approach.
