Moving Things Out
To express moving something out of an enclosure, use the directional word ออก (out). It is typically placed after the action verb and the object being moved.
| The drawer is very messy, you should take things out. | ลิ้นชัก รก มาก คุณ ควร เอา ของ ออก ครับ |
To specify where the object is taken from, add จาก (from) immediately after ออก, followed by the location.
| I will take my belongings out of the luggage. | ฉัน จะ เอา ของใช้ ออก จาก กระเป๋าเดินทาง ค่ะ |
You can pair ออก with various action verbs to describe exactly how something is removed, such as ดึง (to pull).
| The luggage is packed very tight, I will pull the clothes out. | กระเป๋าเดินทาง แน่น มาก ฉัน จะ ดึง ผ้า ออก ค่ะ |
Moving Things In
To describe moving something into a confined space, use เข้า (in). The structure mirrors the previous examples: simply state the destination right after เข้า.
| I pack the daily use items into the suitcase. | ฉัน เก็บ ของใช้ เข้า กระเป๋าเดินทาง ค่ะ |
| Please fold the clothes and put them in the cabinet. | ช่วย พับ ผ้า แล้ว เก็บ เข้า ตู้ หน่อย ค่ะ |
Packing and Organizing
When packing or organizing, you can link actions like พับ (to fold), รูดซิป (to zip), and ล็อก (to lock) to describe the process.
| We will fold the clothes and zip it up. | เรา จะ พับ ผ้า แล้ว รูด ซิป ค่ะ |
| Will you lock the luggage? | คุณ จะ ล็อก กระเป๋าเดินทาง ไหม คะ |
