Resultative Limits with จน
To express continuing an action until a specific result or physical state is reached, use the conjunction จน (until / so much that).
| He boiled the pork until it was cooked. | เขา ต้ม หมู จน สุก ครับ |
It frequently describes a process that runs until it achieves a desired state, such as cooking.
| Mother is boiling the beef until it is tender. | แม่ กำลัง ต้ม เนื้อ จน เปื่อย อยู่ ค่ะ |
You will also hear it used for physical consequences or limits, often translating to "so much that" or "to the point that."

Temporal Limits with จนถึง
When an action continues up to a specific time, use จนถึง. Adding ถึง explicitly marks a temporal limit rather than a physical result.

These expressions of limits often pair with the verb ทน (to endure), describing scenarios where someone has to push through a long wait or stay up working late.
