When describing someone's posture, body language, or how they are interacting with their clothes, Swedish uses a descriptive phrase starting with *med* (with).

The structure is straightforward: **med + [noun phrase] + [locative expression]**. 

However, there is a crucial difference from English. When talking about body parts or personal items like clothing, English uses possessive pronouns (for example, "with *his* back against the door"). Swedish almost always drops the possessive and uses the **definite form** of the noun instead ("with *the* back against the door"), assuming the context makes it obvious who the items belong to.

You will see this construction everywhere in Swedish conversation and literature to paint vivid pictures of characters and their moods. It works exactly the same way for items of clothing, like a hood, or specific gestures, like clenched fists.
