### Adjectives with "Vad som helst"

In Swedish, the phrase for "anything" is **vad som helst**. When you want to say that absolutely any option is acceptable as long as it has a certain quality—such as "anything practical" or "anything vegetarian"—you simply place the adjective directly after the phrase.

Because **vad** acts as a neuter indefinite pronoun, any adjective describing it must take the neuter **-t** ending. For example, the adjective **praktisk** (practical) becomes **praktiskt**, and **billig** (cheap) becomes **billigt**.
