Usages of justo

Es justo que dividamos el alquiler.
It is fair that we split the rent.
Es justo que él comprenda los gastos básicos.
It is fair that he understands the basic expenses.
Dudábamos que el castigo fuera justo.
We doubted that the punishment was fair.
No sabemos qué tan justa es la cláusula, o sea, si es buena.
We do not know how fair the clause is, in other words, if it is good.
