Maximum degree (de lo más...)

To express that something is completely over-the-top, Spanish uses the phrase de lo más followed by an adjective. This structure translates to "incredibly," "highly," or "extremely."

Their new attire for the pool is incredibly eccentric.
Su nuevo atuendo para la piscina es de lo más estrafalario.
The girls did a highly unusual pirouette.
Las chicas hicieron una pirueta de lo más inusual.

Adjective agreement

Even though the adjective is separated from the noun by the phrase de lo más, it still must agree in gender and number with the noun or pronoun it describes.

That unusual dive requires incredibly complicated coordination.
Ese clavado inusual requiere una coordinación de lo más complicada.
Any team can do that dive, but they are incredibly agile.
Cualquier equipo puede hacer ese clavado, pero ellas son de lo más ágiles.
They congratulated each other after the aquatic event because they were incredibly happy.
Se felicitaron después del evento acuático porque estaban de lo más felices.
