To express surprise, joy, or dismay, use ¡Qué! followed by a noun or an adjective. This is just like saying "What a...!" or "How...!" in English.
Remember to start with an inverted exclamation mark (¡) and keep the accent on the é.
¡Qué + Noun
Combined with a noun, it translates to "What a...!" or "What...!". Unlike in English, do not use un or una (a/an) after qué.
