Why do we use вам instead of вас here?
The verb рекомендовать (to recommend) takes the Dative case for the person receiving the recommendation, just like verbs of giving or assisting (recommending is like "giving advice"). So we use the Dative вам (to you) rather than the Accusative вас.
The infinitive is рекомендовать. Why does it change to рекомендуем with an у?
