Saying "On" a Day of the Week
To state that something happens on a specific day, use the preposition в with the Accusative case. The ending depends on the day's gender:
- Masculine and neuter days (inanimate) do not change in the Accusative case.
- Feminine days (ending in -а) change their ending to -у.
Pronunciation tip: For Tuesday (вторник), the preposition в becomes во (во вторник) so you don't have to pronounce three consonants in a row.
