Introducing "Although": хотя
To express a contrast or say "although" / "even though", use the conjunction хотя.

A clause with хотя can come at the beginning or in the middle of a sentence. Just remember to always separate the clauses with a comma.

| She wants to get this position, although she has a bad resume. | Она хочет получить эту должность, хотя у неё плохое резюме. |

You'll see хотя often when weighing the pros and cons of a candidate's resume (резюме), skills (навыки), or interview (собеседование).
