Five short, irregular verbs
The verbs you use most are the least regular. These five do not follow the patterns of lucra or citi — learn their forms as they are.

Notice vor (they want) — nothing like the rest of a vrea — and the i- of iau, iei, ia.
| They want to leave tomorrow. | Ei vor să plece mâine. |

Give, drink, stay
| I'll give you the key. | Îți dau cheia. |
