Questions & Answers about Dlaczego łapiesz cztery małe kaczki?

Why does the number cztery not change its form here?
The verb łapiesz (you are catching) takes a direct object in the Accusative case. For non-masculine-personal nouns like animals (kaczki), the Accusative plural for the numbers 2, 3, and 4 looks exactly the same as the basic Nominative form. So, cztery stays cztery.
Why are the adjective and noun in their regular plural forms (małe kaczki)?
In Polish, the numbers 2, 3, and 4 are followed by the standard plural form of the noun and adjective. Because ducks are not male humans, they use the non-masculine-personal plural endings (-e for the adjective, -i or -y for the noun). If the number was 5 or more, the rules would change and we would need the Genitive case instead!
Is łapiesz referring to something happening right now, or in the future?
It is happening right now (are you catching). Łapiesz is an imperfective verb, so in the present tense it describes an ongoing action or a habit. If you wanted to ask about catching them once and for all in the future, you would use the perfective verb złapiesz (will you catch).
Why does the plural of kaczka end in -i instead of -y?
Feminine nouns ending in -a usually change to -y in the plural. However, Polish has a strict spelling rule: you can almost never write -ky or -gy. Since kaczka has a k before the ending, we must use -i instead, making it kaczki.
