Questions & Answers about Ona bez wątpienia ma rację.
Why does the sentence use ma instead of a word for "is"?
In Polish, you never say someone "is right". Instead, you use the phrase mieć rację, which literally means "to have reason" or "to have rightness". Since the subject is Ona, we conjugate it to the third-person singular ma. The noun racja changes to rację because it is the direct object, requiring the Accusative case.
What case is acting on the word wątpienia?
It is in the Genitive case. The preposition bez (without) always forces the noun that follows it into the Genitive case.
What is the base form of wątpienia, and how is it formed?
The base dictionary form is wątpienie. It is a verbal noun (a gerund) made from the verb wątpić (to doubt). Polish frequently creates these neuter nouns ending in -nie or -cie to describe the act of doing a verb.
Could I use a single word for "undoubtedly" instead of the phrase bez wątpienia?
Yes, you can use the adverb niewątpliwie. Saying Ona niewątpliwie ma rację is also extremely common and means exactly the same thing as this sentence.
