last, previous (zeszły tydzień)

zeszły means last (the one before this): last year

w zeszłym roku last year, w zeszłym tygodniu — last week.

next year

w przyszłym roku is next year — przyszły (future, next) you already know from the future-tense lessons.

Small time words

today (short form of dzisiaj)

dziś = dzisiaj — today, just shorter. Both are fully standard.

earlier, beforehand

wcześniej — earlier, beforehand. still (continuing)

nadal — still (something continues). again

znowu — again. in the afternoon

po południu — in the afternoon, completing rano and wieczorem. evening (noun)

wieczór is the noun evening itself: Dobry wieczór! uses it, wieczorem is its adverb.
