Groups of people: ci, którzy
When generalizing about groups of people, Polish uses the plural correlative ci, którzy ("those who"). Because it uses virile (masculine personal) forms, this phrase applies to all-male or mixed-gender groups.

For inanimate objects, animals, or all-female groups, Polish uses the non-virile plural te, które ("those which" or "the ones that"). This is perfect for discussing collections of items or singling out a female demographic.

Because Polish strictly distinguishes between these two plural genders, you can talk about people and objects in the same sentence without ambiguity. Notice how ci, którzy is used for the human collectors, while te... które refers to the inanimate objects they buy.
